The Chronicle

This weekend has been an absolute babe.
I spent Friday afternoon with my Mum and Grandparents celebrating my Grandma's 70th Birthday.
We had a lovely time eating yummy homemade, chocolate birthday cake and drinking champagne!
I must admit I felt a little dizzy afterwards!

Then, after working for the rest of the afternoon it was time to get spruced up as
my boyfriend and I headed into Leeds for a few drinks. Naturally, I ended up sipping on one too many Cosmopolitans.
I popped on a piece that has been sitting in my closet for too long and I have been neglecting for some time. I have never really found the right items to complement my beloved kimono in order to make it the statement piece.
Never the less I paired it with a plain black bodycon dress and some black tights.
I wore this with my mushroom Wrangler 'over the knee' boots, my fabulous leopard print coat and my 'Mindi' bag. (You can see what mindi bag looks like in my packing picture below)

Kimono - HandM
Black bodcon dress - Topshop
Black Skinny Belt - Primark
Tights - Miss Selfridge

- I promised that I would at some point this week show you the outfits I bought for our Sheffield meet-up. I had a fabulous time with all the girls and I am hoping to see them all again soon!
I know that the lovely Lauren (laurensdressingroom) has posted a little piece on the occasion so I won't go into too much detail about what we all got up to as you've probably already read all about it over on her blog.

You'd think I was going for a week…

For the daytime when I met the girls and Lauren, Karris and I headed out to Bella Roma for some gorgeous italian food,
I opted for my statement red blazer and my favourite lipstick
from MAC, Ruby Woo

Blazer Primark
Leopard print shift dress - Primark
Black skinny belt Primark
Lioness ring - Primark
Nails - Ciate Paint pot in 'Mistress'
Necklace - Accessorize
Lips - MAC Ruby Woo

And in the evening for our splendid night out,
Minus my head. Here is the said dress in all her glory.

Dress Apricot @ New Look
Wedges - Garage shoes.
(These are honestly the comfiest shoes to wear on a night out!)

Awh, I love these pictures, I had such a fabulous time!

Love, Holl
