THE BEAUTY CHRONICLE: 5 FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

FebruaryFavourites

- February has been another action packed month.
Another month of traveling across the country, visiting family, visiting friends and a whole load of university work to get through as well as lots of fun going on in goodgollymisshollie land!

My 5 favourite posts from February

This month I have discovered and rediscovered products that are now firm favourites within my
daily beauty regime.

1.

- This month I worked out what my oily skin needed.
All hail the Neutrogena Pore and Shine, Daily Scrub

- I recently started using this product daily and I have noticed my skin mattefying after every wash
ready for a smoother make up application.
The product works by tightening Pores: Exfoliating micro beads and salicylic acid cleanse deep into the pores.
Andvisibly reducing shine: The formula is clinically proven to remove 77% of excess sebum to provide a long lasting matte effect without over drying the skin.
I have since stocked up on this cleanser due to the noticable results that it has provided for me.

2.

- I revisited a mascara that I discovered some six months ago, as a beauty junkie I like to try out new products all the time to get my latest beauty fix.
My older mascara's were cast aside to trial new ones but having sorted out my makeup bag
I rediscovered the.
Loreal 2 Step 'Double Extend' mascara

I love the legenthing and volumizing properties of this mascara wand which does both of the jobs very effectively.
Although I don't tend to use the white thickening formula, the actual mascara is great for a natural lash.
A good one for the early morning starts when your peepers need some awakening.

3.

- If you read my previous post you will have seen my raving review of the
Bristow's 'Silver Shampoo and Conditioner'

For a barginous price of £1 each at Bodycare, this month these beauties helped beat the brass!
Sorting my stark yellowy highlights out and blending them to all one lovely shade in just over a week.
I totally recommend these as a value toning product.

4.

- My hair has become somewhat of a focal point this month as I have been tinkering and tweaking it for some time now.
I recently have taken a large interest in haircare products, specifically hair oils and conditioners.
I revisited the Indola Glamour Precious Oil

The product intends to stregnthen the hair, target damage and reduce split ends by up to 90%.
I have been running a thumbnail of product into the ends of my hair where it is most damaged from age, colouring and heat styling.
I have noticed the ends of my hair are feeling much softer and smell divine!

5.

- The classic red nail has taken my fancy this month and I have been wearing red nails religiously.
My favourite red polish is the Nails Inc. 'St James polish.

It is a classic true red, perhaps on the orange toned scale as opposed to a blue toned red.
It is classic and applies opaquely in two coats.
I like to add a glossy, clear topcoat for extra sophistication.

What products have been your February favourites?
Love, Holl
