THE LIFESTYLE CHRONICLE: 25 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME

The 25 Facts about me TAG

- I have seen the '50 random facts about me' TAG floating around on various blogs and Youtube channels for a few weeks now.
I love reading other people's random facts posts as I am a total nosey parker.

I asked my lovely Twittery followers if they would like to read my random facts TAG.
and I had an overwhelming number of yes answers.

I have decided to take part in the 25 random facts about me TAG
as I thought 50 would be sooo long to read and your cup of tea would be cold by the time you finished reading it.

I do put a lot of what is going on in my life here on my little plot of the interweb, but I figuired this TAG is a nice way to find out a little bit more about me and learn something you may not have known.

I feel like I am writing out one of those 'surveys' people used to post on their Myspace
'Bulletin Board' circa 2006-07…now that takes me back!

I TAG all of my lovely readers to take part in this and if you have a blog,
leave my the link to your version in the comments below.

**25 random facts about me**

1. I passed my driving test on my first attempt with 4 errors when I was 17.
This followed months of being a 'no hope' driver.

2.  I have a crush on the actor Colin Firth.
This started when I first watched the film 'What A Girl Wants' where he plays
Amanda Bynes' dad.

3. I have travelled to America twice, once was when I was 3 years old
and my parents took me on honeymoon with them.

4. I worked in the same job that I started when I was 14 for 4 years.

5. I am an only child.

6. When I was 5 years old I was obsessed with a boy who sat next to me in class,
I would follow him around the playground and he would always get me told off for trying to kiss him.
That very same chappy is now my boyfriend.
Who says persistence doesn't work. ;)

7. I resat my maths exam 9 times over the course of three years, finally on my very
last chance, I passed!

8. Passing my GCSE maths exam and passing my driving test are what I consider
 my two greatest achievements.

9. I never quit anything, no matter how hard it is, I never quit.

10. I once worried about what I was going to do in the future so much that I passed out.

11. I get freaked out by unpainted toenails.

12. I can't swim very well.
In lessons I was always in the group who
had to practice in the baby pool and wear arm floats.
I will never forget the instructor yelling
" Bend, out, together, stretch, come on guys you are 9! This is for babies"

13. I am very lucky to say that at 19 years old I have all of my immediate family members still in my life.

14.  My favourite place in the whole wide world is London.

15. My favourite colours are purple and red.

16. I once coaxed a fat, ginger cat off the street and into my house by trailing a line of
Chipsticks to my back door.
That cat became my first proper pet, his name was Spud.

17. I was always called hairy arms Hollie in year 7 because I had dark hair that showed up.
One night I got so upset that I shaved my forearms and the hairs never grew back, my arms
are now bald!

18. When I was younger I spent hours writing a murder mystery 'novel'
called 9 Ballerina's Almost Killed.
I re wrote the introduction over 100 times because I was scared of my story having to come to an end.

19. I am really, really shy around big groups of people and it comes across as though I have nothing to say - I end up looking like a bit of a melon.

  6. Painted toenails. No other reason for them but to conceal dirt. Continually painting a part of your body with acrylics and petrochemicals can't be healthy. I've worked for the National Health Service (UK) and seen women in their thirties who can't walk properly because of nail varnish rotting their feet.

Use soap and water for clean and healthy feet instead.
