THE FASHION CHRONICLE: HOW I STYLE...

Antiform Clothing

And Belles Bejewelled @ Made In Leeds

When I see clothes hanging on a rail, a fair few thoughts run through my mind..
What shoes would I wear with this?
What occasion would I wear this for?
What else do I own that could compliment this?
I spend forever pondering.

I personally don't think clothes rails do garments any favours.
As a shopper I like to be able to see what I am buying, styled up with accessories
and other complimentary items.

In the shop, we stock Antiform Clothing.
Antiform was established in 2007 by Lizzie Harrison, the brand is
forward thinking and ethical, the material and workmanship sourced in the West Yorkshire region.
A true Yorkshire brand!

Fabric is recycled, revamped and turned into new, kooky garments.
Sometimes, people aren't sure how to style clothing items that are away from the
Topshop-esc norm.

Last weekend I put together my favourite outfits made up of clothes by Antiform.
All of the clothes you see below are stocked in the Made In Leeds shop.

- I love this sky blue, crochet top, it complements the white skirt beautifully as a true spring time, cheery number,
I added an Antiform scarf that complemented the blue colour family, bringing out the colour in the top and completing the look.

- Steph is wearing a pretty blue shirt with embroided collars
with a striped jumper layered over the top.
I love the layered look and I think the bright, daffodile coloured sleeves work nicely against the blue of the blouse.

- The gorgeous, statement necklace that I am wearing with the Antiform pieces is by the gorgeous Rebecca of  Belle's Bejewelled
I had never seen such intricately designed accessorie pieces before since being introduced to Belles Bejewelled.
- I love this bodycon dress, the loose fit top half flaters any shape or size, with the skirt nicely fitted with an elasticated, beige middle panel.
I teamed this with a bespoke, statement necklace to transform this otherwise day dress into a night out number.

My favourite piece within the collection is this two-tone jumper, which can be worn with leggings, as you can
see in the picture above, I have teamed mine with wet look leggings.
It is floaty and a gorgeous fit, slightly longer at the back with loose fit sleeves.
What do you think of upcycled clothing?
Love, Holl
