THE BEAUTY CHRONICLE: FACE TANNING

Yon-ka Bonne Mine

- Back in April I introduced you to a rather nifty french, fake tan called 'Yon-Ka'
You can read my review of their self tanning milk HERE if you are interested.

Today I am talking about another product from 'Yon-Ka'
The Bonne Mine gradual face tanner.

Often putting anything other than make-up and cleanser on my face scares me a little.
If like me you have ever managed to get your skin looking pretty okay, it is always nerve wracking trying out something new on your face.

Alas, it is my duty as a beauty blogger to share with you my thoughts on all kinds of
products.

You apply the sheer, tinted moisturiser in the morning after cleansing..
Upon intial application there is some colour payoff however over two to three days the colour is deeper more permanently, even after a whole host of cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising.
It really is quite baffling how this stuff manages to stay put.

Although it kind of smells like food lotion the scent is not at all unpleasant - very refreshing infact.
I started using the Bonne Mine as I never use fake tan on my face or jawline..
Meaning that when I have no make-up on there is a suspicious colour inconsistency between my neck and my face.

The Bonne Mine holds anti-ageing properties to restore balance and help prevent signs of ageing, something that oddly I have become more aware of recently.

I wouldn't recommend this facial tan for people with dry skin as it is quite drying and can feel the tiniest bit tight on the skin and the tan may develop stronger on dryer areas.
Overall, since donning the fake tan again, it is important that my face looks equally as radiant on a morning and on an evening when I am make-up free and the Bonne Mine helps that happen.

Do you use facial tanners?
