THE BEAUTY CHRONICLE: TANTASTIC TAN…THREE YEARS ON

The Sunkissed Family

- Almost three years ago when Good Golly Miss Hollie was a teeny tiny Youtube channel with five subscribers and I was a regular tan-a-holic.. I popped up a video about a new
fake tan that I had discovered in my favourite budget beauty store BodyCare

Whilst this video gained over 3,000 views a great deal has changed since I made that video.
One thing that has not changed, is the fact that I still love the Sunkissed tanning range.
The brand which can be found in most budget beauty stores is extremley affordable and has
seriously upped their game in terms of packaging quality.
The products both look and feel like a higher end tan.

When it was time to tan up for the ball last weekend there was no competition
Sunkissed was given the gig.

I started out a few days before by using the
Exfoliating Tan Remover

to exfoliate any dry patches that my tan may cling to upon application.
Scented like a summer holiday in the tropics I used the gentle exfoliator with a muslin cloth concentrating on my knees, elbows and ankles where tan tends to stick.

I then applied my favourite product out of all the tanning range the
Gradual Tanning Lotion

This is the nicest gradual tanner I have ever used and that is a large statement to make.
It s luxurious, non greasy and effective within a few hours.
It is a beautifully coconut scented shea butter that is just a dream to apply..
I used this a day before applying my tan as it contains oils that may have caused my tan application to go a little patchy.
I also used this on the days after I had fake tanned to maintain the colour.

Finally the big daddy and my old favourite the
Instant Self Tanning Mousse

According to the bottle this is a new and improved formula so I was rather excited to give it a go.
I enjoy working with mousse formulas as I find them easier to apply in thin layers.
I used the Sunkissed applicator mitt to apply the tan which is a dark application so make sure you wear old pjays to bed as the colour may transfer.
The mousse also smells like the tropics which really got me into the holiday, bronzed mood.
After a few hours the colour develops and the coconut scent lingers..only after a long time does the familiar tanning agent smell appeal very lightly.

I am really happy that I was given the opportunity to fall back in love with
the Sunkissed products again, second time around they are even better.
The range comes in medium or dark

Will you be giving Sunkissed a try?
