THE BEAUTY CHRONICLE: GLOSSYBOX, JULY 2013

The Seaside Splash Box

- Nothing brightened up my day more than when I opened up the familiar grey and pink Glossybox
packaging to reveal a beautiful turquoise box with coral star fish and reefs imprinted on the front and sides.
A real splash of summer that helped me cast aside my post holiday blues.

July 2013's Glossybox contains products that are intended to turn us into perfect beach babes.

Inside the box..

Ciate Paint Pot Nail Polish
'The Glossip'
£9.00

- I am so pleased with the shade that I recieved as in the past I have always had poor luck of the draw when it came to the nail polish shade I recieved in previous boxes.
This gorgeous coral shade is summer hit and looks great on both the finger nails and toe nails.
The Glossip is opaque in two coats and is super shiny and chip free for around three days.

Inecto Pure Coconut
Refreshing Dry Shampoo
£2.49

- Having found the perfect dry shampoo in the Batiste 'Vibrant and Red', I was a little dubious about going back to the classic 'white powder' dry shampoo that showed up heavily against my dark red roots.
I was however pleasantly surprised as product is not at all white or powdery and leaved barely no residue amongst your hair, not the mention that it smells absolutely divine!
I wish I had discovered this product before my holiday as it is perfect for throwing in your beach bag for the transition from beach to the bar.

Alterna Hair Care
Bamboo Style Boho Waves - Tousled Texture Mist
£23.00

- I love rocking a bed head look.
My grown out hair needs a little oomph most of the time and this mist has helped me achieve both texture and shine on my post holiday, frazzled barnet.
I spritz a little product into my hair then tease my roots with a bristle brush to create some sexy beachy waves and volume (minus the nasty salt and sand feeling post beach.)

Anatomicals
Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz
£6.00

- I am a fan of most Anatomicals products, this included and whilst I often think that facial sprays are a little bit silly, I have to admit this lavender scented spray is truly refreshing!
I wish I had it with me on the flight to and from Turkey.
I have this handy little refresher in my handbag to apply throughout the day or even after make-up application to set my look.

Coola Organic Suncare
SPF 20 Face Cream
£29.99

- Thankfully the weather in England is currently beautiful and sunny which has helped me keep a firm grasp on my tan.
I have been applying this handy little cream with UVA/UVB protection to my face daily satisfied in the knowledge that it also tones the skin and minimizes pores.

Overall, I was very impressed with this months Glossybox offering as I have been using almost all of the products on a daily basis.
July's box also includes for full sized products than ever before which is a plus.
A big thumbs up from me.

What do you think of this months offering?
