THE MAKE-UP CHRONICLE: EYES

Updated: EVERYDAY EYES

- Eye make-up is my favourite make-up to apply.
I enjoy being creative with different products and colours and I like to try something new on my eyes daily.
I barely have spare time on a morning to be creative therefore I have go to products that help me create a simple yet glamourous everyday eye.

In today's post I will be showing you the products and techniques that I use to create a
very wearable eye make-up that will take you from the daytime through to the night.

- I begin by priming my eye lids with the coverted
Urban Decay Primer Potion.
This helps to give my eye lids a tacky surface to work on.
If you have oily skin like me you may find that your eye shadows slip during the day due to excess oil.
I find that by using this primer my shadows last a lot longer.

-  Using a flat shader brush I take a little pop of my
MAC 'Paint Pot' Rubenesque
(REVIEW HERE)
I take the creamy forumla all over my eye lids in thin layers, building the colour as I go.

- I then take the bottom left shade from my Bodyshop Smokey Moonstone palette
(REVIEW HERE) and using a fluffy blending brush I sweep it through my socket line.

- After this I go back to Rubenesque and take some of the colour onto the inner portion of my eyelid and underneath my bottom lash line.

- I have recently found myself loving tightline and waterline eyeliner after a phase of not bothering with this step.
I am currently using the
Sleek Eau La La liner in Noir

I secondly use my Laura Geller Inkwell Waterproof Gel Eyeliner to line the mid to outer sections of my eye on both the top and bottom lash line.

- Finally, I curl my eye lashes and using the
GOSH Growth Mascara for lengthening my lashes
(REVIEW HERE)
and the Models Own Lashed up Volumizer for thickening up my lashes.

The finished look, perfect for summer!
