THE MAKE-UP CHRONICLE: FACE

Make-up For Flawless Skin

- Following on from my last post which talked about my Everday Eye Make-up, I recieved a few messages asking about the make-up that I wear on my face.

I tend to wear quite a bit of make-up on my face as I have a few bits and pieces that need sorting out.
Dark under eye circles, noticeable pores, redness and blemishes to note a few.

I have been loyal to a select few products for a long time now so you may see some familiar products on this post.

1.
- To begin I make sure that I moisturise my skin, I use the warmth of my hands to apply a generous layer of the Seaweed Mattifying Cream from The Bodyshop.
It is the perfect moisturiser for me as it works efficientely on combating my oily skin problems.

2.
- Secondly I will use a primer.
(I have written a budget/high end primer comparison post HERE.)
The primer that I am using currently is the
Murad Skin Perfecting Primer.
The primer helps to bind my make-up to my skin for longer and evens out the redness within my cheeks.

3.
- On with foundation and I am still loving the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Foundation in the shade, Ivory 2.
(You can find a more indepth review of this foundation HERE.)

4.
- To conceal any dark pigmentation underneath my eyes and to cover up any blemishes, I use the highly coveted Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade, Light 2.

5.
- To set my foundation and concealer I use the amazing
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in the shade, 003 Peach Glow.
This powder keeps my foundation looking flawless all day long with touch ups throughout the day.
As I don't tend to wear cream highlighter I go ahead and powder my face before applying anymore powder based products.

(For more information on the above 3 products head over to THIS POST)

6.
- I have currently been loving the Bourjois Delice De Poudre in the shade, 51 to contour my cheekbones and to add warmth to my face.
I take the product on my temples, underneath my cheekbones and down my nose where the sun would naturally catch my face.

7.
- I have never been much of a blush kind of girl and I have always stuck to my old favourite, the
Krylon for Glossybox Blush in Glossy Rosewood.
I apply this with a dome brush to the apples of my cheeks.

And there we have it, my staple face make-up items!

Have you tried any of these products?
