THE NAIL POLISH CHRONICLE: THINK PINK

Holiday Nails

Being the beauty obsessed girl that I am, when going on holiday I sweat the small stuff.
I take forever to decide what to take with me, what outfits I will wear, what make-up to take
and what shoes will go with what.
For me, the main thing is what nail colour I shall sport.

It has to be the perfect compliment for every sandal, flipflop and wedge, every bikini, kaftan or dress.
I usually choose Barry M's 'Coral' as it just seems to go with everything
however, this year I have opted to side with my least favourite 'girly' colour
pink.

Whilst rooting through my case it occured to me that most of many holiday garments
are indeed pink and orange
(I love clashing pink and orange, you can read more about that HERE)
so I opted for two shades of sexy pink for my toes and fingernails this year.

1.
Sinful Colors
23

- I found this little gem in a poundshop in Liverpool months and months ago
and since buying it for a mere squid I keep going back to it for a few reasons:

1) It is super durable and barely chips on my nails at all

2) It is such a cheery colour!

I opted to pop this one on my toes as I find that it lasts well over a week longer on my toes than it does on my finger nails.
As I am wearing sandals and flip flops daily, I need my little toes looking lovely 24-7

I have heard that a few people find that the Sinful Colors polishes chip really easily on them, but I recommend that you give them a go as I find that they barely chip at all!
They are an absolute dream for me to wear and you can find them in Boots for only £1.99.
Surely they are worth a shot for that price!
My shade is opaque and glossy in just two coats and dry within 2 minutes.

2.
L'Oreal 'Color Riche'
827 Acid Watermelon

- I know that I have rather recently raved about the Colour Riche polishes in
THIS POST  but such positivity surrounding this shade from you guys made me choose it as my nail polish of choice for my holiday.

As I have mentioned before it is super, super quick drying and is opaque in two coats.
You can find the whole colour collection in Boots for £4.99.
I find that Acid Watermelon chips after four days or so.
I do however think that it is the perfect holiday shade!

What is your summer holiday shade of choice?
