THE GLOSSYBOX CHRONICLE: AUGUST 2013

"The High flyers box"

- Well, once again Glossybox have wowed me with their High Flyers August box.
Gone are the days of the lonesome perfume sample and body moisturiser.
Today we are witnessing history being made as this months box does not contain a single one of the above.

The High Flyers box introduces us to the hair care, skincare and make-up products that we need in order to be prepared for any beauty emergency.

Inside this months box…

1. - From Brazil
Oceane
Make up remover pen

- This is by far my favourite product in this months box, what a genius invention!
Gone are the days of me swiping unwanted eyeshadow fall down, smudged eyeliner and feathered lipstick!
The pen delivers fuss free make-up removal as the tip of the pen contains a liquid make-up remover that does not dry out your skin!
This is a make-up staple in my eyes.

2. From Sweden
Emite Make Up
Eyelash Curler

- My current eyelash curlers are cheapy ones from the poundshop.
Yes, they do the job nicely but my, my was it nice to hold a pair of professional curlers!
These curlers come with three extra curling pads and have been developed with professional make-up artists.
I also love the chic black and red colour design.

3. From the UK
Jelly Pong Pong
2 in 1 Shadow and Liner

- I'm rather fond of this little pencil as I have little time on a morning before university or work so I like to smudge some black kohl around my eyes and go for the grungy eye look.
Simple and quick!

4. From the USA
TRESemme
Keratin Smooth Concentrated Treatment

- If you read (THIS POST) you will already know that I am a huge fan of TRESemme hair products, I wash my hair with their colour fade shampoo + conditoner daily so I was excited to try out this 60 second treatment shot.
You apply the product to damaged parts of your hair post shampoo and away you go.
As somebody with very damaged hair I am looking forward to trying this.

5. Founded on ancient Indian principles
Urban Veda
Daily Radiance Facial Wash

- Urban Veda is a brand new skincare range that is based on the idea of of using nature to live a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.
The range has been specially formulated to help combat pollution and leaving skin less vulnerable to the environment.
This gel product smells divine and I am looking forward to giving it a whirl.

- I have very impressed with this months offering and I shall be providing seperate reviews on any of the products that especially take my fancy!

What do you think to this months 'High Flyers' box?
If you are also subscribed to Glossybox, what did you receive this month?
