THE HAIR CARE CHRONICLE: HOARDING HAIR PRODUCTS

those back of the drawer products

- We all have a particular space that houses our hair care products.
Mine live in a large, plastic drawer under my bed,
in there are necessities such as my hairspray, hair dryer and hair brush and then there are other products that I always keep hoarded away in an old Glossybox that all serve a purpose but are kind of
just there.

Are you with me girls?
Allow me to introduce you to my
"I don't use these products on a regular basis but they are just there because I might need them"

This morning I have fished out said products and I am going to tell you a little more about them.

1.
John Frieda - Frizz Ease - Hair Serum

If you're anything like me and your hair is completely over processed and hasn't been cut for the best part of two years then fly away frizz is something you may have to battle with on a frequent basis.
For me, the frizz appears in the mid to end lengths of my hair.
I apply a pea sized amount of this to soaking wet hair and get to business with drying my barnet.
(Avoid the roots as it can make your hair greasy)
Once blow dried, my hair is fabulously smooth and frizz free until the humid heat hits it or I have been to the gym.
Well, I guess you can't have everything ey?

2.
Aveda - Pure Abundance - Style Prep

This little beauty is perfect for adding some oomph into lank, straight hair.
I apply a few squrits onto my dry hair on the days when my hair is inbetween washes and needs a little bit of life pumping through it.
I am left with imediate volume and revitalisation.

3.
John Frieda - Frizz Ease - 3 Day Straight

Now, this product is intended for people with curly/wavy hair.
Not completely straight hair like my own however, originally bought to experiment with I now use this product as a heat protectant which it works effectively as.
It also works well to add texture and volume to your hair when it is damp and ready to style.
I found that when using this product properly my hair stayed poker straight, because it is naturally very straight, it did however fight my frizz!

4.
Bamboo Style - Boho Waves - Tousled Texture Mist

I love how fresh this product feels against my hair, I use it on dry hair by spraying the product onto the mid lengths of my hair and tousling and styling my hair around my fingers to create a textured, wavy effect.
This product has pretty good sticking power as it keeps my straight locks in a lovely boho wave all day long and that is a task in itself.

Do you have those kinds of hair products lingering in a drawer?
