THE BEAUTY CHRONICLE: REAL TECHNIQUES BRUSH REVIEW

expert face brush

- As a long time fan of the Pixiwoo's I have been eyeing up the Samantha Chapman
Real Techniques brushes for quite sometime.
I must admit that I am rather late on the band wagon with this one but I wanted to share with you my thoughts on my new foundation brush.

My favourite foundation is the Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Foundation by Collection .
It is thick and creamy in consistency which means that it takes alot of work with ye ole' foundation brush to blend evenly into your skin.

For the longest time, I have been using my MAC 130 stippling brush to work in my foundation and although it is a great little brush, it has seen better days and due to its size my base routine takes longer than needed.

With a new chapter in my life just starting, I decided to start a new chapter with my foundation brush also picking up the Expert Face Brush for £9.99 in Boots.

The Expert Face Brush is intended for cream or liquid foundation and has ultra soft, cruelty free bristles.

The dome shape of it allows you to buff in your foundation to build coverage in no time at all and applies a nice even coverage of foundation.
I recommend that upon first use of this brush that you pop a little splash of water over the bristles so that the bristles don't absorb lots of product.

Overall, I am very impressed with the Expert Face Brush

Which other Real Techniques brushes do you recommend?

  2. I keep eyeing up the RT brushes in Boots, I wonder how this differs from the infamous buffing brush from the Core Collection.
