THE FASHION CHRONICLE: PRIMARK HAUL

In the red

- My Primark trips usually bring me some kind of joy and happiness but I am afraid that
 this trip did not.
I headed to Primark last week to find something nice to wear to my Grandpa's funeral.

In my opinion I don't see an essential need to drape my entire body in black, to me that is all very Victorian.
Just like I did at my Nana's funeral, I wanted to find something bold and cheerful, something that my Grandpa would think I looked nice in.

I ended up purchasing a new dress and a few accessories, the entire outfit costing me under £15.

Red Lace Skater Dress - With Black Patent Belt
£10

- The striking, cherry red shade of this dress jumped out at me and I knew that it would match my hair and my favourite Dr Martens boots.
The dress itself is a skater dress with a scoop back, I believe that this is a style that I think looks effortless and suits all body shapes.
I love the dainty lace 3/4 sleeves and the flattering above the knee
length.

Long Red Pendant Necklace
£2

- I love jewellery in this style, kind of a mock antique pendant on a lengthy antique gold chain.
I thought that this necklace would add a simple yet striking element to my outfit.

Round Red Pendant Ring
£2

-I bought this ring to match with my necklace as it features the same stone as the necklace, again I like the antique affect.

Leopard Print Dollybow
£1.50

-I love leopard print paired with red, in my opinion it looks edgy, yet sassy.
This gorgeous little head bow is perfect for when your hair (yes fringe I am looking at you) just doesn't want to play ball.

And there we have it, I paired this outfit with black tights, red Dr Martens and a simple black blazer.

What have you discovered in Primark recently?
