THE BEAUTY CHRONICLE: CLARINS BEAUTY FLASH BALM

the beauty staple.

A few weeks ago the lovely Clare from Clarins contacted me and invited me along to an event that the brand was hosting in John Lewis.

I had a lovely evening meeting the Clarins girls and learning all about their products, which I must admit that I have never tried.

I was told that a staple, Clarins product is the
which I must admit I have heard of before but never really found out anything more about it.

For the past fortnight I have been giving it a go.

The Beauty Flash Balm is designed to be used as a primer for tired and stressed skin.
(Believe me living in student accommodation sleep is a luxury and anything to help my battered skin is a hero in my eyes.)

It brightens, tightens and smoothens the skin and gives you a really lovely glow.
It is a non greasy so for girls like me with oily skin it doesn't cause break-outs.

I mix a little pea sized amount of the flash balm with my foundation and I have to say that my foundation lasts all day without the need to powder.

I have also used the Flash Balm as a masque, leaving it on for 10 minutes.
The lovely lady from the Clarins spa introduced me to this idea and I have to say that my skin felt really nourished and pampered after rinsing off the product.

I was a little confused about the application of this product, you are advised not to rub it into the skin as it works as a fine film layer over the skin.

I like to use this product when I want my make-up to last and when my skin needs a serious pick me up.
Post night out anybody?

Have you ever tried the Beauty Flash Balm?

  1. I've always wanted to try this and reading this hasn't stopped that feeling at all! Tired skin doesn't get any better when you're working full time unfortunately, i think 'll have to pick this up!
