THE MAKE-UP CHRONICLE: MUA PRO PALETTE REVIEW

going for gold

- Whilst on a shopping trip with my friend Charlotte at Birmingham's famous Bullring shopping centre, we headed to Superdrug to restock having had an accident involving bronzer.

Instead of leaving the store with bronzer, I came away with a new eye shadow palette.

All hail the
MUA Pro Eyeshadow Palette
in
Going for Gold

As a huge fan of MUA cosmetics, I knew that I would be on to a winner with the shadow texture, pigmentation and quality of the product.

For a mere £4 I threw this palette into my basket without a seconds thought.

I was initially attracted to the vibrant yellow toned golds and orange shadows.
I really wanted to create a 1960's/70's eye look, featuring these beautifully soft shades and a hell of a lot of eyeliner!

Sincw purchasing it a few weeks ago, I have been using this palette everyday.
Here is my everyday eye..
I know that using such yellow toned shadows can seem a little scary, but I love the final look.

1.
BASE
MAC 'Rubenesque'

- I start by applying a thin, even layer of Rubenesque which a beautifully, peachy, pearl base.

2.
LID WASH
Going for Gold - Shade 8

-Using a fluffy brush I lightly blend shade 8, a gorgeous burnt gold shade all over my eye lid.

3.
SOCKET COLOUR
Going for Gold - Shade 5

- I blend the gorgeous autumnal orange shade through my socketbone and onto the outer portion of my eyelid.

4.
LOWER LASH LINE SHADE
Going for Gold - Shade 9

-Using a tiny pencil brush I smudge the coppery brown tone underneath my lower lash line.

5.
INNER CORNER SHADE
Going for Gold - Shade 7

- -On the inner corner of my eye I use the lighter gold shade to give my eyes abit of sparkle.

6.
FINALLY
- A lot of liquid liner and lashing of mascara!

Right, with all this yellow on my eyes, i'm off to skip down Carnaby Street!
Love
