THE BLOGGING CHRONICLE: DECEMBER 2013

- This is probably going to be the strangest blog post that I have ever written.
As many of you will have gathered, I haven't had the most pleasant of life experiences lately.
Some of the people I care most for, have left my life this year in one way or another.

There is nothing more scary than such huge changes taking place before your very eyes and not having any power or control to stop it or slow it down.

To describe bluntly, it feels like laying down voluntarily and having a thousand people kick you repeatedly in the stomach.

I am currently in a very strange place and the truth is, i'm not really sure what i'm doing or who the hell I am.

I hope that I can look back on this post in a years time and want to give the girl who wrote it a huge hug, I really hope that i'm not that girl.

When midnight strikes on the 31st, my life will be very different than it was on the 31st last year.
This year, I am hoping that at midnight, all of the poison and rotten garbage swirling around will disappear.

I didn't have the heart to write a coventional 'Monthly Favourites' because this blog documents my life as it is in the here and now, I can't sugar coat it for you all.

Do you remember when I was dumped on Valentine's day via a text message?
Yup, Good Golly Miss Hollie kicked into action and helped me through.

I'm hoping, with your help she will do it again for me.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for reading my blog, your support makes me remember my purpose a little clearer.

I also want to end December with a huge thank you to my friends and family who have literally had to drag me through this horrible time.
However,
on a slightly different note, I hope that you all like my decorating, I thought that we should enter 2014 with a face lift.

So without further ado, here are my favourite posts from December.

My first Japanese eating experience
- My friend Lauren introduced me to authentic Japanese food, in the above post you can read my thoughts on Etsu restaurant in Liverpool.

The BEST bargain mascara?
- My review of the Collection 2000 'No Clumps' mascara, was it a steal or a slump at £2.99?

The Matalan fashion event
-I attended the Matalan winter fashion event earlier this month, read about my crazy party pieces and Matalan steals.
