THE GLOSSBYBOX CHRONICLE: NOVEMBER 2013

the glossy wish list

Today we are delving into The Christmas Wishlist Glossybox*

So what's in my box?

Firstly, I am LOVING the quite literally Glossy magazine that now arrives alongside your products.
Previously, the editorial was on a folded piece of paper however I feel that the new magazine adds a little extra luxury to the package.
The eight page magazine is filled with beauty product reviews, tips and tricks and expert beauty advice.

Emite Makeup - Micronised Eyeshadow 'Dams'
-Emite makeup is completely free from oil, nickel, parabens and perfume.
The pigment is micronized to facilitate application and to create an even, ever lasting result.
Ideal for lens wearers or those with sensitive eyes.

My Thoughts
I am not usually one to carry around single eyeshadows in my make-up bag opting for palettes instead but I think that this jet black shade is the perfect shade for setting eyeliner and has therefore bagged itself a spot in my everyday make-up collection.
The soft powder is easy to blend and is highly pigmented in colour, perfect for any smokey eye.

Yves Rocher - Collection Cacao - Hand cream - 'Cocoa and Orange'
-With an indulgent scent and an ultra moisturising formula, your hands will be grateful for this nourishing treat.

My Thoughts
Although I am not usually an avid hand cream user, I have found that since the cold snap has struck my hands are feeling drier and weathered.
I love the delicious scent of this non greasy cream, think Terry's chocolate orange.

Elegant Touch - Rapid Dry Nails
With added vitamin E, the Elegant Touch dries nails in 60 seconds.

My Thoughts
Having given a £1 nail drying spray a go (READ FULL REVIEW HERE) I was interested to see what this £3 spray could do.
I have to say my nails are completely dry after applying the spray and are left with a glossy finish, no need for topcoat!

Vichy - Idealia - Life Serum
A unique product that helps transform the appearance of the skins quality.
Protect your skin from stress, pollution or an unbalanced diet.

My Thoughts
This little trio interested me enormously when I first opened my box, I have been using the serum underneath my normal moisturiser and I noticed benefits that are not dissimilar to the
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm (READ FULL REVIEW HERE.)
My skin feels awake and appears bright.

Scholl - Dry Skin Exfoliator
Clinically proven to remove rough skin and help promote natural cell renewal, this product will leave your feet feeling conditioned and smooth.

My Thoughts
My feet are a part of my body that I would be sincerley lost without but I often neglect them, a lick of red paint on the old toenails sufficing.
I do have fairly hard skin on my heels and since using this product my heels have felt much smoother and less tight.

Overall,
I have enjoyed many of the products in this months Glossybox offering although i'm not sure I would put all of them on my Christmas wish list..
Nevertheless I am pleased with what I recieved and look forward to next months surprises.
