Shopping is my ultimate therapy, I always feel a trillion times better after a good old shop.
Since I had a little shake-up in the hair department I have had a revamp in my wardrobe also.

I still love my quirky pieces however, I have been opting for more classic clothing lately and very oddly I have been buying skirts?!

Over the past month I have bought a few pieces from the high street that I think still fall into the:
Hollie would wear that category but are also a little more classic.

From Primark..

I have started to find myself scratting around the Primark sale rail where items are usually reduced to £3 or £5.

I found the hot pink wrap skirt for £3.
It looks great with black opaque tights and the black studded cami which was £2.
The cropped, stripey blazer was reduced from £17 down to £7!
I think it looks great paired with the above items, I wore them together for a night out last weekend.

I also bought my first midi skirt, it was the pattern that caught my eye the beautiful blues and greens reminded me of the summertime.
I found the loafers to go with it, they are uber comfy to wear and unlike most Primark shoes, the soles have lasted when worn in the rain!
They were a steal at £4.

The floral, duck egg blue blouse is not something I would have usually chosen however, since turning blonder I have found myself opting to wear more pastel shades, I love the softness of the blouse and it always gets compliments.

I then wandered into a shop that I can only describe as a Liverpool store.
The clothes are glitzy, glamourous and seriously over the top.

I bought the little sparkly crop top and this orange bandage skirt to wear together.
Some may say that is mad, but I think it works!

Finally, Zara was my last stop.
I found the 1970's esc silk, smock dress in the sale area it's one of those pieces that you just have to try on and I am so glad that I did.
It is super figuire flattering and sits just above the knee.
The perfect day to night dress.
