This week has been one of my favourite weeks of the year because I have just had so much fun!
The week kicked off with afternoon tea at Cuthbert's Bakehouse  with my gorgeous friend Hannah.
We are both sticklers for freshly brewed tea and cake, I opted for a creamy red velvet slice which I have to say was sooo delicious.

Sunday was my friends birthday so we headed to Almost Famous, which is my favourite burger joint, I highly recommend you give it a try if you are in either Manchester or Liverpool and you fancy putting yourself in a food coma.
We rounded off Ben's birthday with drinks in Kazimier Garden which is a super quirky, outdoor garden, with two sheds - one serves drinks and the other serves soul food.

On Monday I was headed to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for a day of thrills - Blackpool is a place that reminds me of being a kid and visiting in October to see the illuminations.
I had a white knuckle day riding the rollercoasters and being scared to death sat at the very front of the Pepsi Max car.
After that ordeal a carvery in nearby St. Anne's was well received.

The rest of the week has been spent at work and catching up with more of my favourite people however, I was introduced to a little gem in Liverpool called Lark Lane.
It is a street reputable for its bohemian, independent feel, I had tapas at Esteban, an independent Spanish place on the main high street and the food was truly delicious.

Finally, I ended the week by discovering an amazing family run italian in Liverpool city centre named: The Quarter which creates the most amazing pizza's ever.
The evening was balmy so my friend and I sat outside with beer until the sun went down, it was pretty idyllic.

Today my parents have arrived in Liverpool to help move some of my stuff home although I, myself have another week left in the city which I am quickly falling in love with.
I bet you never thought you would hear me say that did you?

'Till next week
