Since starting a new position in London I have given my faithful make-up routine a little tweak from being ready for uni to ready for work

I have been using a lot of my old favourites, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
As always you can head over to in depth reviews of specific products by clicking on their names.

The Face: To prime my skin I have been using my favourite drugstore primer the Maybelline 'Baby Skin'  when the weather is warmer I find that my foundation slips around more easily and so this primer helps to keep everything in one place. My foundation of choice at the moment is of course the MAC 'Studio Fix Fluid' foundation in NW20 a medium to heavy coverage that keeps my skin looking fresh, dewy and perfected all day long. I finish off my look with a sweeping of the MAC - MSF in 'Soft and Gentle'
which gives your cheeks the most beautiful summer glow.

The Eyes: I have still been absolutely loving the Maybelline Colour Tattoo eyeshadow in 'On and on bronze' not only does it look amazing on the eyelid on it's own but also when paired with 'Toasted' from Urban Decay it is eye make-up dynamite! I then add a thin line of the Eyeko 'Skinny Liner' to my upper lash line, taking it into a cat like flick at the ends followed by lashings and lashings of my new favourite mascara the NYC 'Big, Bold, Curl'

The Lips: A new job in London calls for an extra special lip colour, my favourite MAC lipstick of all time, 'Girl about town' I bought this lipstick on a lovely trip I had to London a few years ago and I have saved it for special occasions ever since.

How do you switch up your make-up for summer?
