When I first saw the 'Emergency Repair Kit' make-up bag in Primark - I knew that I had to have it (with good reason of course) My trusty Harrods make-up bag has split and I was finding it a little too large to lug around on over night stays, it didn't fit nicely into my handbag.

Today I am talking about some new discoveries that I have made in the make-up world.
The first being my go to mascara of the moment from Physicians Formula, I can't get enough of how dramatic the lashes become, especially when paired with a thick voluminzing mascara .
I talked about here.
When it comes to my nails I usually like to wear something dark, a deep hue of red or a matte black. Recently I have been going for a more metallic finish and that is exactly what 'Snake Rattle and Roll from  the Essie Repstyle range is -  a grungy grey-black with a high shine finish.
Onto the lips and I have resorted back to an old favourite from Clinique, the chubby stick in the shade 7 'Super Strawberry.' Not only is it super moisturising on the lips but the subtle amount of colour that is distributed is beautiful.
Finally, I have discovered an eye  brush that actually works, it is tapered to perfection and not only presses shadow into the lid but also blends accurately. The blender by Nanshy.

Which beauty bits have you been using lately?
