Something always pulls me back to a smokey eye.
I am starting to think that it has something to do with my 'Make-up' Pinterest board which you can find here. Nearly every pin is of a deliciously applied smokey eye, including some by queen of the smoke and rock chick look - Charlotte Tilbury.

I have been rocking a smokey eye everyday now for the last few months and I have recieved a lot of compliments on the colour palette that I used.

To start I use the Maybelline 'Colour Tattoo' shadow in 'On and on bronze' this gives a rich, creamy base for the shadows to sit on, the grungy bronze shade looks great when paired with other warmed toned colours such as 'Toasted' from the UDNP.

Next I dive in with the browbone shade from the Wet 'n' Wild 'Comfort Zone' palette.
I use this all over the lid followed by the charcoal 'Definer' shade in the socket line, pulling it under my lower lashline as well.
I try to be as messy as I can to get that smudged effect, I like to use a black shadow such a creep to add more definition.
I then take my Eyeko Skinny Liner and line the upper lash line before layers and layers of the NYC 'Big, Bold Curl' for dramatic, emphasised lashes.
