This week was all about being where the heart is and of course, that is at home.
After nursing a 24 hour long hangover on Sunday, Bank holiday Monday was spent exploring one of my favourite North Yorkshire towns, Knaresborough.
It is so quaint and on a sunny day it's nice to hire a rowing boat and spend your afternoon lazily padding down the river.

As well as catching up with all of my family that I have missed for the past two months, I was exceptionally happy to be seeing my friends again too.
My friend Sarah and I popped into my hometown of Wakefield and found ourselves sipping mint tea out of vintage teacups @ Marmalade on the Square which is undoubtedly my kind of tea room with vintage china placed everywhere and yummy home made bakes.

This weekend I went to The Leeds Donkey Sanctuary summer fete.
Last Christmas, my mum adopted my a little chocolate brown donkey called Ripple and I was dying to meet him. Fresh brew and hot dog in one hand and the rest of me leaning over a fence, I finally got to stroke him.

Today I am packing up my suitcase again ready to head back to Liverpool tomorrow for the last chapter in my university book.
I am sooo excited to be handed the keys to my new flat and I am sure, tomorrow afternoon I will be making a mad dash to the TK Maxx home section for candles, bed throws and cushions.
