I spent my bank holiday weekend having a make-up cull.
I wanted to open my beauty tower and see everything that I use.

Two bin bags and four hours later I found my make-up collection dramatically down sized.
Everything in my drawers are in date and products that I use regularly.
I store my make-up in a black, croc effect tower from Matalan, the drawers are deep and can fit in smaller boxes and dividers for extra organisation.
On top of my make-up storage I have some of my everyday brushes in an 'I love London' mug, my perfume and my make-up bag. A Sex and the city box set and a vintage tea party book hang out on there too.

The top drawer houses my lip products with a wide range of Mac and drugstore lippys, lip glosses, lip crayons, balms and stains. I love a bright lip so this is by far my favourite drawer.
The colour being the most popular in numbers is hot pink and my favourites are 'Brighton Rock' by Topshop, 'Girl About Town' from Mac and 'As you want Victoria' from Rimmel.

The next drawer is full of base and face products with an assortment of everything from Studio Fix Fluid foundation by Mac to Bobby brown blush to MUA Concealer. Honourable mentions go to the Murad 'Skin Perfecting Primer', the Maybelline 'Baby Skin' primer and the Physicians Formula 'Deluxe Bronzer.'

In my eyes drawer, I have palettes, single eye shadows, liners and mascara's.
My favourite palette is the Urban Decay 'Naked Palette #1' and of course I have to mention the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 'On and on bronze.'

Finally we have my nail care drawer.
Before starting my cull I had 120 nail polishes spilling out of my drawer, a collection which has now decreased to 25.
A lot of them had passed their sell by date and gone gloopy.
I now have a smaller selection of all of my favourite shades in a nice concise amount.
