Every morning when I wake up at home, I see my inspiration wall staring back at me.
For those of you who haven't seen it, it is a wall filled with black and white images of models, fashion brands and photography. The one person who always stands out to me is Cara Delevigne who I have to say features quite heavily on the wall.

Today I was inspired by her super smokey eye make-up on the Topshop A/W campaign, I love the way her kohl and shadow are brought right under the lower lash line to create extra drama. It would appear that whilst trying to revisit old favourites, I have dug out a fair few Maybelline products...

I started my make-up by priming my skin using the Maybelline 'Baby Skin' before using the Maybelline 'Fit Me' foundation in the shade 120. I haven't picked this foundation up in around a month so I was re impressed by the light texture and gel -like consistency. For concealer, I used my Glo-Minerals pot which I use everyday, I am baffled as to how the product hasn't been used up yet. My brows were defined used the Maybelline 'Brow Drama' wand which I still can't get enough of, I have the shade 'Medium Brown.' As my skin is a little paler now we approach the winter season, I wanted to add extra warmth to my face by using the Elizabeth Arden 'Mineral finish bronzing powder.' For my eye make-up, I started by priming my eyes with the Maybelline, Colour Tattoo in 'On and on bronze'- This product gives blue/green eyes the perfect pop as the bronze, rust tones intensify light eyes. In true CD style I used my Models Own 'Smokey Eye Kit' all over the lid and bringing the darker grey shade fairly far down my lower lash line. A quick lining of the Eyeko 'Skinny Liner'  on my upper lash line. To complete the look I added a few lashings of the Physicians formula mascara paired with the Derma v10 extension lash mascara which after drying out a little is much easier to use.
