THE NOTES: I HEART DRUGSTORE MAKE-UP TAG

I love drugstore make-up and with no spare cash to spend in the Harvey Nichols beauty bazaar on high end make-up, I resort to finding gems in the drugstore that are more affordable and easier to replace.

To pay homage to my love for the drugstore, I thought the 'I heart drugstore make-up' TAG would be perfect to introduce you to my drugstore make-up secrets. I TAG everybody to give this a go and if I have reviewed any products in depth I will leave a link to the post below.

What is your favourite drugstore makeup brand?
For a real bargain you can often find a gem within the MUA make-up range with many products retailing for a £1. Their lipsticks are super moisturising and highly pigmented.

What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?
My favourite face product is the Collection 'Lasting perfection foundation' a real long lasting, full coverage foundation. My favourite cheek product is the Physicians Formula ' Deluxe bronzer'  a deep, contouring bronzer with a coral undertone.

What is your least favourite drugstore product?
I haven't got on board with roll on deodrant, I find that it just stops working after a few uses and doesn't work to its best capability like spray on deodrant.

The best make-up bargain?
Any of the MUA eyeshadow palettes, an honourable mention to the MUA 'Heaven and Earth' palette. £12 quality eyeshadows, high in pigmentation for £4.

What is your favourite underdog product? (Something you love that often gets overlooked?)
The Superdrug own brand shampoo and conditioner  is not only very affordable but it is also refreshing and leaves your hair in fantastic condition post wash.

A drugstore product that is over priced?
A lot of drugstore mascara from the likes of L'Oreal and Max Factor can be super pricey at nearly £11-£12 for a tube, Collection make mascara's that are just as good at delivering results for £4-£5. my favourite is the 'No Clumps' mascara.

What is your favourite drugstore dupe?
The L'Oreal 'True Match' foundation is a great dupe for the Giorgio Armani 'Luminous Silk' foundation lightweight and creamy with a build-able coverage.
