On Monday I flew home from Amsterdam to be greeted by a nail polish explosion in my suitcase, I have to say I was pretty gutted as it was my favourite shade 'Chelsea' by Nails Inc that shattered however, I still found the festivity in me to go out and get a real Christmas tree to dress up to the nines and munch on warm mince pies and hot chocolate whilst adorning each branch in baubles and sparkly lights.

Tuesday saw my last news day of the semester and Friday held the scariest exam of my life, an assessed press conference which saw myself and a team of 4 prepare for a grilling. The pressure was high as we were asked some pretty tough questions, pretending to be a councillor is so difficult. I feel like we did a decent job and hopefully the marks will come back positive.

I have popped back to my hometown of Wakefield for a late birthday celebration with my family as my Mum, Dad and I headed to Bibis restaurant in Leeds for a lovely meal and a cocktail or two, it was nice to celebrate turning 21..Again.

Also this week, I headed to my Grandma and Grandad's house to help them decorate their Christmas tree, something that we have been doing annually for a few years now. As you probably know already if you read GGMH regularly, my Grandad has been seriously unwell for over a year now so it is important to me to spend as much time at Christmas together as possible.

Later on, I will be heading back to Liverpool for the last few weeks of this semester before Christmas, I seriously cannot believe that I am half way through being a third year already! It really has been a blast.
