August, it's time to say goodbye to you! The end of this month is a bittersweet one, whilst I am currently sunning myself in Ibiza as you read this. August marks the end of a relationship growing in the same city. Sadly, September spells another long distance relationship beginning. Sound strangely familiar to another September sometime ago in 2012? Yeah, it sucks! But enough of that, what about the beauty?
The flirty scent: I've been wearing 'Naughty Alice' by Vivienne Westwood on and off since I started this very blog back in 2010. The powdery, musky scent is laced with floral notes which makes it smell extremely feminine when sprayed onto summer skin. If you like warm and sexy scents, then this one is certainly for you.
The nourishing hair masque: Since returning to my dark red roots, my hair has needed a tiny bit more nourishment as synthetic colour has been applied. I have been using the ESPA Pink mud masque which has provided super deep nourishment for not only my hair strands but my scalp also. I like to massage the formula into my hair/scalp for around three minutes before rinsing or every few weeks leave the formula on for up to an hour.
The perfect pins: If you read this post, you'll have seen a little bit about the wedding I attended a few weekend ago. I needed my legs to look their best, as a natural Casper I needed some colour and base to cover the bright blue veins, bruises and general ghostly hue. I turned to my trusty favourite, the Sally Hansen 'Air Brush Legs' which is basically perfect legs in a bottle. Think of it as a foundation for your legs and the perfect party weapon for when you're wearing a dress.
The dewy skin: I love the feeling of freshly cleansed, moisturised skin...Even more so when i've used a beautifully scented oil on my face. I have recently been indulging in the ESPA 'ProSerum a light moisturising oil for the face which provides the perfect base for make-up.
The saviour lippy: You may have noticed that i've been championing 'Fresh Moroccan' by Mac a lot around here. I worse the sparky, amber shade to the night do of a wedding and after wearing 'Ruby Woo' all day, the moisture from this lippy was very welcome. It is also the perfect shade for a celebration,
The luscious lashes: If you're a long time reader of GGMH you'll know that I am a huge fan of the Kate Moss mascara by Rimmel. Use one side for length and the other for volume for explosive lashes.
