Products i've been loving in the month of March...
S K I N C A R E: I've been treating my skin once a week to a revitalising and clearing masque, my choice for March was the Origins 'Clear Improvement' active charcoal mask. It draws deep into the skin, acting like a magnet to draw out pesky pore cloggers and absorbs environmental toxins. I love how refreshing it is on the skin and for folk like me with oily/combo skin it is the perfect, non drying masque to use, especially when different areas of the skin need treating differently.
L I P S: I discovered this Jelly Pong Pong lip crayon in a GlossyBox some time ago, since then it has been my go to pop of colour for my lips and usually lives in my handbag. The colour is build-able and is ultra moisturising on the lips. If you've seen me rocking a fluorescent pink lips, chances are it's this beaut.
B A S E: Again, the Lacura Beauty CC cream has made it into yet another monthly favourites. Why? Because it's just so darn good. The coverage is light and build-able, the lasting power is pretty darn awesome and the fact it has an SPF is just a bonus really.
S C E N T: As Spring has supposedly set in now, I have been switching up my usually, heavier scents to fresher, lighter scents. This month I have been loving the Michael Kors 'Coral' fragrance which is made up of juicy orange, and sandalwood, a really tantalising blend that very nicely gains me a few compliments whenever somebody gets a whiff of the alluring scent.
N A I L S: March saw me having a a bit of a fling with nude nails, now that my nails have so amazingly grown longer, I am experimenting more with nail polish. I have been wearing the Nails Inc & InStyle magazine collab from a few years ago, the shade is similar to the infamous 'Porchester Square.' The slightly deeper tan shade is also from the older Nails Inc range and is called 'Oxford Street.' Since the branding changed, this is no longer this shades name but I am sure you can find something similar, 'Mushroom' from Barry M is my recommendation.
E Y E S: Since my dabble with eyeliner has continued to evolve into something beautiful. I have been switching up liquid liner for gel, my favourite is 'Blitz + Glitz' by Mac, it's a beautiful jet black gel with teeny, tiny gold flex! I apply it to the upper lash-line with an angled brush before smudging for a rock n roll vibe.
B O D Y: I have reignited my love for self tan and my old school love for the infamous Dove 'Summerbody' gradual tanning moisturiser. Quite often I can't be bothered to apply generic fake tan and have the hassle of washing it off the following day. One application of the Summer body self tanner and I am looking slightly less Casper-esc and more sunkissed. I used to be addicted to this stuff back in the day, does anybody remember that blog post?
