GARNIER NUTRISE ‘ULTRA COLOR’ – INFRA REDS HAIR DYE REVIEW

garnier Nutrisse ‘ultra color’

– A month has passed since I last review a RED HAIR DYE.
Another four weeks of colour fade and root regrowth only calls for another dye.
This week I have used the
Garnier Nutrisse – Ultra Color dye in the shade Intense Red Copper
having picked it up on offer in Sainsbury’s for £4.99.
This is a permanent red dye that aims to be ultra visable even on darker hair, anti drying and long lasting.
I have been lusting after auburn hair for quite some time now.
(If anybody watches Hollyoaks and knows who Martha Caine is… that is the colour.)
Anyhow before I tell you more about this dye I would just like to point out that
if you have dark brown hair and you are wanting a radiant red colour
USE THIS COLOUR.
It will not turn your hair auburn it will turn it super, super red.
I have used many hair dyes aiming to lighten dark hair to a bright red and they have not worked but my oh my this one does!
So lets have a look at my hair colour pre dye.

Faded red with roots visable

The dye itself is a two step process and is applyed to dry, unwashed hair.
I was quite taken aback at how fruity the solution smells!
Make sure you pop down lots of towels and have cream cleaner on hand as it’s pretty vivid in the bottle.
I left the mixture in for 25 minutes before rinising.
I was very impressed with the Nutrisse conditioner that is inculded in the dye pack.
It contains shea butter, olive, blackcurrent and avocado to help nourish your hair after the colouring process.
I must say upon drying my hair I had no dry ends and my hair felt really clean and conditioned.
The Colour Payoff

*In artificial light*

*In natural daylight*

As you can see this dye has really my red to being super vibrant and punchy!
I love it.
As I said previously this dye is one to use if you are trying to lift darker hair but if you are a fellow redhead this is a must try as it colour boosts and leaves your hair feeling conditioned thoroughly.
I will definately be repurchasing!
What do you think?
Can you recommend me any dyes to try next time?
