My Clarins Skin Spa Experience

At the end of 2013, I lucky enough to be invited along to a Clarins beauty event in Liverpool.
It was here that I met two gorgeous ladies named Genny and Meghan who both work in the
Last week, Genny very kindly invited me over to see what exactly goes on inside the
When I first arrived at the spa which is located on the top floor of John Lewis in Liverpool One, I was amazed at how tranquil and relaxing the reception area of the spa is, the beautiful scent of the various skin oils made me feel really relaxed.
Genny welcomed me and explained that Meghan would be performing my treatment.
I cannot tell you how lovely both of the girls are, they really make you feel at ease and help you to leave your stresses outside of the treatment room.
The inside of the treatment room is so peaceful, it has muted lighting and there is uber relaxing, oriental music playing softly in the background, I genuinely could have fallen asleep!
Meghan explained to me that I would be receiving a one of the Clarins Triactive Facials which are five times stronger than the normal Clarins line and are powered by ClarinsPro formulas.
Meghan examined my skin as my skin type fluctuates between oily and dehydrated and she decided that the Detox and Shine facial would be most beneficial to me as my skin was in a pretty bad way.
As you all know I have recently suffered a rather stressful few months and I have to say that my skin has really taken the brunt of it.
Pre treatment, my skin was ridiculously de-hydrated, my chin was rife with hormonal break outs and
Meghan told me that the only way I could sort this out was to go right back to basics and start again with my skincare.
The Detox anf Shine facial purifies the skin, rebalances oil production and refines pores so that oily and combination skin becomes clearer, softer and more matte.
She introduced me to the Toning Lotion, Hydra Matte Lotion for combination skin, Hydra Quench Lotion for normal/combination skin and the Gentle Exfoliator.
All of which have had a lasting affect on my skin since using them for the past week, my favourite prouduct has to me the Hydra Quench which I will be purchasing in the full size version.
The treatment itself was ah-mazing I have never felt more relaxed.
I felt like a new woman after the 1hr 25 minute treatment.
I think my favourite part of the session was looking in the mirror and seeing how truly bright, rejuvinated and how fresh my skin looked.
The following day my skin was completely clear, not a single blemish in sight and my make-up applied so much more easily, it was quite astonishing how different my skin actually looked which really proves to me that investing in high quality skincare is important.
If you want the ultimate pamper experience the Clarins skinspa offers facials, body massage, foot massage, and my favourite the scalp massage.
I think it would be a great treat for yourself or a family member, I wish I had known how wonderous the treatments were before my high school prom, my skin would have looked fantastic.

Have you ever tried a facial?
