How to achieve Lauren Conrad’s hair colour

How to achieve Lauren Conrad's hair colour

I have recently started re-watching the entire collection of The Hills
The Hills was an American ‘reality’ TV show that followed the lives of Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag, Audrina Partridge and Whitney Port in the Hollywood hills.
I can’t believe that it has been EIGHT YEARS! since season one aired and four since the series finished.
It was the forerunner of the programmes we know today such as The only way is Essex and Made in Chelsea.
I have always had a little bit of a girl crush on Lauren Conrad but more recently I have developed a crush on her hair colour – You all know the shade.
Caramel brown with blonde woven through.
Beautiful!
Since I have been on a mad hair dye spree, I decided to have a go at recreating Lauren’s locks myself.
Ofcourse, the final result isn’t 100% perfect but I am loving a little bit more chocolate running through the lengths of my hair.
I started by buying two boxes of my favourite drugstore dye the Superdrug ‘Colour Performance it retails at £4.99 but this week they are on offer, two for £6.
I bought the shades Natural Medium Ash Blonde and Natural Lightest Brown – a single shade in the difference between the colours.
I used foil to separate my hair into thin sections, working the light brown on the most Auburn parts and concentrating the blonde at my roots to mid-lengths of my hair.
I am really pleased with the result, I think the colour is much softer and warmer for the summer time.
Did you ever watch The Hills?
