THE BEAUTY CHRONICLE: #JNJJOURNALISMAWARDS

The 9th annual Johnson  and

Johnson Journalism awards

– Tuesday night certainly was a glamourous affair, held at the beautiful Corinthia hotel, London the night sparkled with the biggest gems in beauty journalism and PR as the 9th annual Johnson and Johnson journalism awards took place.
My day didn’t get off to the best of starts as the weather in Liverpool decided to batter me in hail, torrential rain and gale force winds!
My umberella disintegrated and I was counting my lucky stars that I didn’t look too horrendous as I aproached my favourite place in the whole wide world.
London.

The event was due to start at 6:15 so I had time to catch up with my boyfriend and grab some food.
As we approached the Corinthia I had severe butterflies, It is super scary arriving to an event on your own.
Upon arrival my coat was whisked away and I found my name badge amongst the likes of Louise Court, Grazia writers, Daily Mail writers, you name it, they were there.
A funny story is to be told at the point.
Somehow my name badge got a little mixed up and I ended up with somebody elses’ blog logo on my card!!!
It read “You’ve read the best old chap”
Clearly not my blog!
Anyway, this provided a talking point and had me in hysterics for the entire evening.

Prosecco was served upon arrival and delicious canapays filtered around the room, a room full of all the people you could only dream of meeting!
I met the gorgeous (and fellow West Yorkshire gal,)  Gabrielle from Red, it felt like I had known her years!
The event itself highlighted the real talent within the beauty industry!
