THE MAKE-UP: L’OREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION

I recently splurged on a re purchase of the MAC ‘Studio Fix fluid’ foundation, due to the hefty price tag I wanted to have a back up drugstore foundation for those days when you
you don’t want to use your expensive favourite.
If you have been reading GGMH for a long time you will know that the Collection 2000 ‘Lasting Perfection’ foundation is a firm favourite of mine however, I wanted to give the drugstore dupe of the Giorgio Armani ‘Luminous Silk’ foundation a whirl.
The L’Oreal ‘True Match’ foundation is a lightweight, creamy foundation with light to medium buildable coverage. It contains an SPF of 17 and blends beautifully into the skin, i find it does so even better using the warmth of your fingers as opposed to a brush.

What I loved about this product is that the shade range is amazing with over 20 colours to match up to. The selling point of this foundation for me was that the product adjusts to your skin tone and that it does. It may be worth noting that some larger Boots stores the L’Oreal counter has a make-up artist on hand to help you find your true match colour.
The lasting power of this foundation is reasonable, as a gal with oily/combination skin I only needed to touch up my T zone with powder once throughout the day. I have however heard that the True Match works more effectively on slightly drier skin.
Have you tried the true match foundation?
What do you think?
