I’ve always been enamoured by the aura of Charlotte Tilbury, an acutely astute saleswoman with a genuine passion for her craft and industry. Charlotte is always that little bit too much to process and I really do wonder how she keeps up such a vigorous energy in every appearance, darling.
Charlotte’s brand is everything I’d want in a collection were I trailblazer in the cosmetics space, it is premium, innovative, joyfully named and packaged up beautifully with classically luxe burgundy and gold branding. Granted, I haven’t tried everything from the Charlotte Tilbury range on myself, but I have spent many an hour at the Tilbury counter in John Lewis, swatching and testing.
I have two stand-out favourite products from the Charlotte Tilbury line…

I love the way you can ‘shop by look’ with the CT range, it makes it easier to pick your products and have half an idea what may or may not suit you. Charlotte gives you everything you need to find your look led by a latter-day and modern-day muse. My favourite collections are the: ‘The Dolce Vita’ ‘The Rock Chick’ and ‘The Bombshell’ – all beautiful looks inspired by knock-out women.

I have long since admired the Stoned Rose lipstick from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G collection. This warm peachy/coral nude is perfect for when you want to wear a nude lip shade with impact. Comfortable to wear and impressively packaged, yes, it’s a treaty purchase but you feel extra special when applying this kissable nude.

I really like the way Charlotte creates colours that compliment your eye colour. My own eye colour is quite complex, much like many people with light eyes, sometimes they’re green, sometimes grey, sometimes blue. When it comes to eyeshadow, I’m a smokey eye gal at heart and more often than not, I pile on way too much. Charlotte’s colour chameleon shades are super pigmented, blend-able and easy to wear. I slightly deviated from Charlotte’s ‘blue eyes’ recommendations and opted to join the brown-eyed camp with ‘Amber Haze – Apparently infused with synthetic sapphire, this eyeshadow pencil makes my eyes pop and is a failsafe for when I need my ‘eyes on’ in a jiffy.
